Brian Hui, DMin

Brian Hui is Lead Pastor of Living Stones Christian Church East Bay, a multi-ethnic Asian American congregation in Union City, California where his ministry is shaped by a commitment to formation, neighborhood, and justice. Brian studied and taught at Western Seminary and is currently pursuing a DMin in Contextual Theology at Northern Seminary, focusing on a theology of exile from the Asian American church. He is an ordained minister in the Evangelical Covenant Church and has over 20 years of pastoral experience in the Bay Area. He serves on the boards of Missio Dei Oakland, a church network for the urban poor, and PathLight Int’l, which empowers children in Belize through education. Brian and his wife have three young adult sons and are deeply rooted in the Union City community.
