Joel Jin, PhD

Dr. Joel Jin is Acting Assistant Professor at the University of Washington and Senior Fellow at the Asian American Center at Fuller Seminary. A licensed clinical psychologist and scholar, his research examines perfectionism, race-based stress, stigma, and the emotional mechanisms of centralized chronic pain among racially minoritized communities. As guest co-editor and editorial board member of the Journal of Psychology and Theology, he advances integrative scholarship at the intersection of psychology, theology, and Asian American formation.
